Some homes on private wells deal with a lot of water quality issues. This particular customer in Bath was dealing with sulfur, a low pH (acidic), hard water and bacteria. We installed our AIO3 (air injection system) with ozone generator to zap sulfur with a special media blend (Katalox media) and the ozone to help reduce sulfur. We also installed an acid neutralizer to elevate the pH and a water softener after the acid neutralizer and last but not least the UV purifier to kill any bacteria.
