This customer moved into a home on a private well in Riegelsville, which typically has acidic water, hard water and bacteria. Due to previous customer’s not resolving the water issues, they were having pin hole leaks in their copper which is when they called us.

We tested the water and found the pH at 6.0 (acidic) which causes the pin hole leaks and blue/green staining. Hardness was 12 GPG (very hard) and customer was concerned with drinking water and was aware that on a private well there can always be a presence of bacteria. The best solution was to install our Ultraviolet UV Purification System to ensure bacteria-free water without the use of heavy chemicals.
